Donations of Materials or Supplies

The HCC Foundation thanks our many colleagues and friends in the community who have generously reached out to offer donations of materials or supplies to assist the HCC community in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. We know so many want to do everything they can to help after a disaster. Unfortunately, our campuses are not set up logistically to receive, store and distribute items to our students. Instead, the best way to support disaster victims is with a financial donation to the HCC Disaster Relief Fund. Financial donations can be accessed quickly to support those affected, and be put to use right away.

Ways to help Houston recover from Harvey:

  1. Individuals. Call 211 (713-685-2300 if out of area). They are coordinating volunteers.
  2. Groups or Individuals. Register at www.volunteerhouston.org (likely the most comprehensive and easiest to use).
  3. Corporations wanting to donate supplies (for example, XYZ Corp has truckloads of supplies they want to contribute):

Please send an email to Norma.Meadows@houstontx.gov and Carlecia.Wright@houstontx.gov with the following information:

    • Name of organization
    • Name of person to call regarding the donation
    • Email of Point of Contact
    • Service provided
