Q1: What is the Faculty & Staff Campaign?
A: The Faculty & Staff Campaign is a fundraising effort to provide HCC faculty and staff an opportunity to invest in HCC and its students by donating unrestricted funds to be used where needed for the benefit of the HCC community. This demonstrates the unity and strength in working together to further the success of our students.

Q2: Why is my annual participation important?
A: Your annual participation is important because it shows that you are aligned with our shared mission, scholarships to support student success! By helping our students soar, you set an example for your colleagues by showing them you are invested in our student's success. We also show the Houston community at large that HCC faculty and staff also invest in the success of our students through personal giving. Annual participation is key to our success.

Q3: When I contribute to the HCC Faculty & Staff Campaign, where does my contribution go?
A: By making a contribution to the Faculty & Staff Campaign, you are contributing to the success of our students. You also have the opportunity to contribute to the success of your fellow HCC colleagues and their families through our expanded campaign giving options in 2022. You can designate your gift for the HCC Foundation or a particular scholarship. The Eaglet Fund is a fund that provides scholarships for children and immediate family members of faculty and staff (full-time/part-time).

Q4: How do I participate in the campaign?
A: You can donate online by visiting hccs.edu/allinforhcc. You can also print the donation form available online to complete and mail with payment. We encourage payroll deduction, but you can also make your gift by credit card, check or cash.

Q5: What is the goal for the annual Faculty & Staff Campaign?
A: In 2021 HCC Faculty and Staff helped raise more than $142,000 through the support of the annual campaign incuding the Bedichek-Orman Auction. We are grateful for the generous hearts of HCC employees and always seek to exceed each year to further support on behalf of student success.

Q6: If I authorize payroll deduct indefinitely, can I change it if something happens?
A: Yes. You have the right to contact the HCC Foundation to change or cancel your payroll deduct at any time.

Q7: Do I need to re-enroll for payroll deduction if I already signed up for indefinite in the previous Faculty & Staff Campaign?
A: No. Your support will continue. You may opt to increase your deduction per pay period to provide even more support for student scholarships. Thank you for your commitment to invest in our students! The HCC Foundation Golden Eagle Society recognizes annual giving at the $5,000 level and above.

Q8: How do I find my Employee ID for setting up payroll deductions?
A: To find your Employee ID, log into PeopleSoft@YourService by visiting www.hccs.edu, choosing Staff or Faculty in the Information for tab, then logging into the HR System Sign In page using your HCC email User ID and password. In PeopleSoft at the Main Menu dropdown, click Self Service, then Payroll and Compensation, then Employee Job Data to locate your Employee ID. For additional assistance, please contact the HCC Foundation at info@hccsfoundation.org or call 713-718-8595.

Q9: How do I set up a named scholarship?
A: With a gift of $10,000 or more, donors may fund a named scholarship to establish a legacy or honor another's memory or achievements. Donors may designate a set of specific criteria for the scholarship if they choose to do so. To speak with someone regarding starting a scholarship fund, please call 713-718-8595 or email info@hccsfoundation.org.

Q10: Will my gift be confidential?
A: Your name will be included on the donor list unless you choose to opt out of our donor lists by sending an email to info@hccsfoundation.org.

Q11: Who should I contact if I have questions?
A: Please contact the HCC Foundation at info@hccsfoundation.org or call 713-718-8595 if you have any questions regarding the campaign.
