Opportunity 14 Scholarship Requirements

• Eligibility for the Opportunity 14 Scholarship within one year of either graduating high school or earning a GED prior to your 20th birthday.
• Residence within the HCC service area for at least one year.
• Completion of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and qualification for federal/state financial aid, with the Opportunity 14 Scholarship being supplemental to all other awards made.
• Enrollment in a minimum of 9 semester credit hours at HCC.
• Minimum 2.0 grade point average on all work attempted at HCC.
