My educational and career goals
Studying in a college such as Houston Community College is a good opportunity for me to widen my knowledge. I am trying to earn a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. After that, I will work for some computer & software companies for several years before I open my own firm. I want to be as successful as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, and I understand that I need to study hard and study more.
What receiving the scholarship means to me
To have a good job in the future, I know I still need more knowledge. However, a student who does not have enough money cannot pay for his school fees. Not only has this scholarship helped me pay the tuition fees but it also gave me a good feeling of being chosen. I love my parents. Now I know that my parents do not have to worry about how I am going to pay the tuition fee anymore.

Yes, once again, I want to say thank you to the donors, Houston Community College Foundation and my professors as well (especially Mrs. Lee Harrison, my Humanities professor, for the Letter of Recommendation.) Your attention will help me concentrate more on study. It is not easy to have a scholarship, so I will do my best to be worthy of this precious gift from Houston Community College.
